Dann Farm

WHAT OUR CLIENT WANTED - In their Pound Ridge, NY home, two teenage boys had long outgrown the “Jack and Jack” bathroom they shared between their bedrooms. The space felt dated and no longer age-appropriate, so the goal was to create something that would serve them well both now and in the years ahead—rooted in a traditional foundation but with a distinctly modern edge.

The finishing touch? Both teens are dedicated bodybuilders and meticulous about tracking their progress—hence the custom niche for a scale, cleverly tucked beneath the folded towels.

Beyond the bathroom, Mimi also suggested replacing the heavy drapery in the formal dining room with a lighter, airier fabric accented with soft green tones. The change allowed natural light to filter in, bringing a sense of freshness and ease to what had previously been a very formal space.
